Berry season is upon and what is better than some fresh-picked berries straight from the farm?! While the season can be short and sweet, there are several places in the metro where you can go picking! The picking season in Minnesota is about Mid June through July but it’s always dependent on the weather as you can imagine! Read on for tips and a list to get you started!
Some things to consider before going picking in the Twin Cities:
- Check the establishment’s Facebook, website, or Instagram for updates. Several places can be picked out day to day or they close due to the weather!
- Make sure to bring cash! Some places are cash-only.
- Be patient and understanding. With inclement weather, sometimes it doesn’t make for the best crop.
