European Christmas Market – St. Paul
- Location: Union Depot, St. Paul
- Dates: Weekends from November 28 – December 21
- Highlights: The St. Paul European Christmas Market is one of the most visited holiday events in Minnesota, blending European charm with Midwestern warmth. Perfect for families, couples, and solo shoppers alike, this market captures the essence of a European Christmas. Sip on hot mulled wine, enjoy festive performances, and snack on traditional European treats. The charming setting and twinkling lights make it a must-see holiday stop.
The Department at Dayton’s – Downtown Minneapolis
- Location: 700 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis
- Dates: November 13 – December 27, Monday-Saturday 10a-6p, Sundays 11a-5p
- Highlights: Shop 100 local retailers and makers in a downtown style that showcases the true heritage of Minnesota. Make sure to snag some iconic Santa Bear merch and also snag the 2024 limited edition Santa Bear – only available here.
Local Love Markets – Edina
- Location: 50th and France
- Dates: November 29-30, and December 13-14 (12p-6p)
- Highlights: This hot market has gone viral for having some of the best curated local, vintage, and handmade goods in the Minneapolis area in 2025! If you’re looking for a fun and vibrant market this season, definitely add Local Love to your list, as Hannah consistently knocks it out of the park with her hand-picked selection of vendors.
MN Xmas Market – St. Paul, Cottage Grove, and Red Wing
- Location: Union Depot in St. Paul, The Madison in Cottage Grove, and Willow Brooke Farm in Red Wing
- Dates: November 22, November 29, and December 6 (10a-4p)
- Highlights: An annual pop-up holiday market that showcases homegrown brands, artisans, creators and makers, with a charitable twist. This year, each of the vendors will donate 5% of their dollars made to the Small Business Spark Fund.
Off the Rails – Brainerd
- Location: Northern Pacific Center, Brainerd
- Dates: December 12-13 (Friday VIP night 6p-9p, Saturday 9a-3p)
- Highlights: A pop-up market in the Brainerd Lakes Area at the historic Northern Pacific Center, this event showcases a diverse selection of handmade, handcrafted, and unique gifts from talented artisans and small business owners throughout Minnesota. Enjoy live music, festive food and drinks, and a fun atmosphere that will put you in the holiday spirit!
Field & Festival – Minneapolis
- Location: Wagner’s Garden Center, 6024 Penn Ave S
- Dates: Saturdays and Sundays, November 1 through December 21
- Highlights: Every Weekend in November & December – Minneapolis Craft Market & Wagner Garden Centers join forces where vendors create a bustling and festive hub of farmers, food makers, and artisans. Free to attend and vendors change every weekend!
Four Seasons Nordic Winter Market – Minneapolis
- Location: Four Seasons Minneapolis
- Dates: Weekends from November 1 through mid-December 21 (11a-3p)
- Highlights: Shop local makers in each of the custom-designed cabins by Martin Patrick. Rotating vendors each weekend! Access to these markets, as well as valet parking, is complimentary and open to the public. *Winter Markets are weather dependent; any schedule updates will be shared on their Instagram.
Minneapolis Christkindl Market – Minneapolis
- Location: North Loop Green
- Dates: Weekends from November 21- December 21 (Friday 4p-9p, Saturdays 11a-9p, Sundays 11a-7p)
- Highlights: Brand New this year and inspired by traditional European Christmas markets, this outdoor wonderland will transport you to a world of twinkling lights, alpine-style wooden huts, and the cozy aroma of mulled wine. Savor traditional European holiday treats while you shop unique and handcrafted gifts.
Duluth Winter Village – Duluth
- Location: DECC, Duluth
- Dates: December 6-7
- Highlights: Stroll through the same outdoor Winter Village you love, with Lake Superior and the Lift Bridge as your backdrop. The DECC (Duluth Entertainment Convention Center) is steps away from Canal Park and Bentleyville, with plenty of parking and additional festivities, dining and shopping nearby. Enjoy festive greens, your favorite shops, hot drinks, and fire pits – Still one of my favorites over the last couple of years!
Julmarknad Handcraft Market & Festival – Minneapolis
- Location: American Swedish Institute
- Dates: December 5-7 (Friday is Preview Night)
- Highlights: Shop handmade goods from more than 60 regional artists at booths inside the American Swedish Institute and out in the courtyard. Browse exceptional items from ASI’s own Jul Shop, alongside distinctive artisan glass, clothing, wood, jewelry, ceramics, and textiles.
Malcolm Yards Holiday Market – Minneapolis
- Location: Blueprint Room at Malcolm Yards, 501 30th Ave SE
- Dates: December 13-14 (Sat 11a-8p, Sun 11a-4p)
- Highlights: Over 25 local makers will be showing off their wares for the Holiday season. Was one of my favorites last year – the mix between holiday market and food hall is truly something I didn’t know I needed!
